Choosing the Fish

Choosing the Fish I like learning new stuff about foods. During one of the check-ups, my doctor and I started talking about which foods we need to consume, which foods we need to avoid. He advised me to eat smaller fishes, since they have less toxins in their body.

Everybody knows the phrase “Big fish eats the small fish”. Fish cannot discharge the toxins in their body. When they are feeding with other metabolisms, they absorb the toxins other metabolism has.

He also mentioned about consuming wild fishes as much as possible. The farm raised fishes swim at a closed area, and most of the time they absorb other fishes wastes.

After my talk with my doctor, I try to buy small fishes, but at the city I lived in, finding wild fish is a little problem. At this point this website I found when I was surfing, becomes handy. The website belongs to Montrey Bay Aquarium. On this page, they give information about fishes you can eat according to the region you are living at.
